Boherquill Ramblers

The Ramblers met in Abbeylara on Sunday 17 February 2019 for a walk in mostly bright weather but with a couple of showers as well. They walked out of the village to Derragh Lough where there were a few swans to be seen and then through a wooded area, some of which had been cut down, before reaching the road again in Derragh for the return walk to Abbeylara. Thank you to P. J. Reilly for giving permission to cross his land.

On Sunday 3 March 2019 the Ramblers will visit Ballymahon. Cars will leave Boherquill at 1.30pm and meet at the Cattle Mart in Ballymahon at 2pm for an 8km walk out to the Royal Canal at Brannigan's Harbour and along the canal towpath.

Club members who are joining the trip to Wales for the 2019 June Bank Holiday weekend are asked to pay the balance of the full price to Nini Murray by the end of March 2019.

New members and new walks are always welcome. For details phone Philip at 087 7753612 or Nini at 086 8754411or see boherquillramblers.ie
