The venue was the same as last year and the dinner and service were up to the same high standard so thank you to all the friendly staff at the Hotel.
There will be no walk on Sunday 23 December 2018 as usual on the last Sunday before Christmas, but the Ramblers will meet at 11am in Mullaghmeen Forest for their traditional St. Stephen's Day walk.
New members are always welcome. For details phone Philip at 087 7753612 or Nini at 086 8754411.

ST COLUMBAS: - I have no doubt by the time you read this the one word Mullinalaghta will cover the wonderful story that St. Columba’s G.A.A. club created history when they had a well-deserved win and they became the first club form Longford to advance to the Leinster Senior Club Football Final. We in this parish congratulate them and wish them continued success which they deserve after beating Dublin’s Kilmacud Crokes. They were rightly proud to be included in Ryan Tubridy’s, Late Late Show last Friday night. With all the articles written as well as TG4 coverage we will leave you to read the reports of your choice and we say well done to all who supported them so far. No doubt their following will increase with every outing. We thank Columba’s for a wonderful game and helping to bring Rural Ireland alive and proud.
