Thank you to the Brady family for permission to cross their land.

Diamond Wedding Anniversary: Diamond Wedding Anniversary

Albert and Deidre Sellars would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who attended the celebration of their Diamond Wedding Anniversary at Feerick's, Rathowen, last Saturday evening. The happy couple were delighted to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary surrounded by family, friends, and many former patrons of The Float Pub, who shared fond memories and stories of the wonderful nights spent there over the years.

Among the many thoughtful presentations received by Albert and Deidre was a copy of the script from their wedding ceremony, which took place on 30th July 1966 and was celebrated by Rev. Kevin Brady. One of the more remarkable coincidences of the evening was the reminder that, when Rev. Kevin Brady celebrated their wedding 60 years ago, Albert and Deidre could never have imagined that they would one day have a son-in-law who also bears the name Kevin Brady—a special coincidence that made the presentation even more meaningful.

Albert and Deidre once again wish to thank everyone who helped make the occasion so memorable and appreciate all the good wishes, cards, gifts, and kindness shown to them as they marked this very special milestone.
