Computers for Beginners: I have sought funding to run a Stage 1 course for the complete beginner. The course will start in the parish park in January and will cover the essentials of getting started, it will help you learn the basics and enable you to gain confidence in using the Internet, send emails, create documents. and share photos online if enough interest in progressing stage 2 will follow on. I would encourage anyone interested to contact me asap as spaces may be limited 087 1375222.
Streete Parish Park Vintage Club: Would like to express our sincere condolences to the Campbell Family. Abbeyshrule on the passing of Packie Campbell. Packie and his family have been great supporters of our vintage show for many years, May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Congratulations: to Shane Butler, Barradrum Streete, who announced his engagement recently, we wish Shane and Jessica every happiness and great health in their future life together.
Condolences: The Committee and staff of Streete Parish Park, and fellow vintage club members wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Alice, Niall, Tony and the entire Nerney family on the sad passing of our dear friend. Brian will never be forgotten and will always be remembered with fondness and praise for his dedication to our local area and for the positive energy he brough to us all over many years. We will dearly miss his Good-Hearted Humor wisdom and relentless generosity to our community, Brian was one in a million who worked tirelessly helping out in any way possible, especially the parish park and our vintage show to which he so proudly promoted at every opportunity near and far. Rest easy dear friend and may your gentle soul rest in heavenly peace.

Traditional Irish Step Dancing Classes for adults; Thursday night from 8 till 9, Classes are suitable for adults with little or no prior experience with traditional Irish dance. Christmas Market: The upcoming Christmas indoor market on November 26th is now hotting up with great prizes to be won on the day, Raffle lines are on sale at €2 per line or 3 for €5 The market is on from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and promises to be a great day out and the perfect place to meet up with neighbours and friends and do some early Christmas shopping, Don’t forget we will have some delicious food vendors on the day, so you can take the day off from cooking…oh and Santa will be in his Grotto that day waiting to see all the lovely children in this part of the world. We could go on and on but it’s probably better if you just come out and see for yourselves.

Church Notes St Mary’s, Streete/Rathowen: Masses and Adoration this week: This coming Sunday is the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. Vigil Mass every Saturday in Boherquill at 8 P.m. Sunday in Rathowen at 10 a.m. Mass this week Tuesday, Boherquill 9.30 Am. Wednesday Rathowen 9.30 Am Thursday, Rathowen 9.30 Am, adoration 10 to 10.30 Friday, 8 pm with adoration 7 to 8 pm
Book of Remembrance: The month of November is traditionally the month when we remember our loved ones gone before us. A book is open in the church for you to record their names for remembrance during mass throughout the month.

Rosary continues: Rathowen, every Tuesday at 7 pm and Boherquill every Thursday at 7 Pm.
Men’s Prayer Group: Every Monday in the church in Boherquill at 8 p.m. New participants are always most welcome.
