Halloween Fancy Dress Party: - HALLOWEEN Fancy Dress party and disco in Streete Parish Park last Sunday evening week hosted by our local football club Inny FC was a huge success. It was great to see so many young people out enjoying the Halloween treats on offer, along with the fun the little ones had running around and dancing to the sounds of the upbeat disco music in the “haunted” surrounds of the Parish Park. As promised it was a frightful night of fun and frolics along with fantastic entertainment. I’m sure you will all agree it did not disappoint. On behalf of the Parish Park committee we would like to thank Inny Football Club and those who helped the club on the day. The club put in a lot of hard work decorating the hall, putting up the decorations and setting the scene to make it an enjoyable occasion for all to enjoy. Inny FC hopes to have another fun filled evening before Christmas to bring in funds to support the community games.

BOHERQUILL RAMBLERS: - The Ramblers were led by Joe Masterson for their visit to Mullaghmeen Forest on Sunday 28 October 2018. The beech trees had lost most of their leaves, letting the autumn sun shine down on the group as they followed a combination of the yellow and white walks with the fallen leaves rustling beneath their boots. Thank you to Joe for acting as guide for the day.
On 11 November 2018 the Ramblers will visit Ballynacargy for an 8km loop walk through Lakingstown and back into the village along the Royal Canal. Cars will leave Boherquill at 1.30pm and meet at the church in Ballynacargy at 2pm.
